Our flagship product, Prospo, is a neuro-symbolic AI reasoning agent that automates financial advice, modelling, and document generation. With a deep-tech focus, Cognitivo is the lead partner for UNSW's Fintech AI Innovation Consortium, advancing research at the intersection of AI, finance, and automation.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on, creative Marketing Intern to join Cognitivo 3 days a week. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their marketing career who wants to gain experience across digital marketing, brand communications, and event management in a high-growth AI startup.

You'll work directly with the founding team to grow Cognitivo's presence — helping us tell our story, engage our community, and deliver world-class events that connect innovators, researchers, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and support events — from intimate industry meetups to larger product showcases and university partnerships.

Create, schedule, and manage social media and digital content across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and other channels.

Assist in brand storytelling — crafting marketing materials, blogs, and visuals that communicate our mission and technology.

Conduct market, competitor, and trend research across fintech and AI sectors to inform campaigns.

Support email marketing, CRM management, and analytics tracking to measure engagement and impact.

Collaborate with the design team on creative assets (graphics, presentations, videos).

Capture and edit photo/video content at events, workshops, and product demos.

Contribute to community-building initiatives with partners, students, and researchers.

About You

Recently graduated or in the early stages of your career in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields.

Strong interest in technology, AI, and innovation ecosystems.

Confident communicator with excellent writing and organizational skills.

Enjoys planning and running events and has great attention to detail.

Comfortable using (or keen to learn) tools such as Canva, Figma, HubSpot, Notion, and Mailchimp.

Proactive, creative, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.

Available 3 days per week (flexible schedule).
