We are currently seeking a skilled Boilermaker | Welder First Class to join our team. Whether you're experienced in heavy fabrication or looking to take the next step in your welding career, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications & Experience (role-dependent)

  • Heavy Fabrication or Boilermaker Certificate (or equivalent) – preferred for fabricators and first-class welders
  • Welding experience (MIG and/or Fluxcore essential)
  • Experience working with carbon, black, and galvanized steel – from thin plate to small but heavy structural steel
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Forklift Licence – preferred but not essential
  • Right to work in Australia with Residency

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare and weld metal components according to company and industry standards
  • Perform fabrication tasks including light to medium structural steel work, cutting, jig work, and basic assembly
  • Ensure work meets quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Collaborate effectively with team members
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Casual position with the potential to move to full-time for the right candidates
  • Summer hours: Mon–Thurs 5:00am to 1:30pm, Fri 5:00am to 12:00pm (depending on workload)

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Education:

  • Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Boilermaker | Welder with MIG & Fluxcore: 1 year (Required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (Preferred)
  • Driver Licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)
