We're Hiring: Line Marking Pilots / Plant Operators – Victoria

Supalux is a premier road marking specialist with long-term contracts across Australia, and we're looking for dedicated Line Marking Pilots / Plant Operators to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to operate specialised equipment and become a key part of our reliable crew.


The Role

You'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our road marking application equipment. This isn't just about driving; it's about delivering high-quality work and leading a crew to success. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Operating applicator trucks and other specialized plant equipment.
  • Applying all types of road marking materials, including paint, thermoplastic, and cold applied plastic.
  • Ensuring work meets the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Working independently and leading your crew to achieve project goals.
  • Embodying our company values of integrity, reliability, and strong leadership.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is safety-focused, a great communicator, and ready to take on a challenge. To be a good fit for this role, you will need:

  • A White Card.
  • A full driver's license (HR preferred).
  • A basic traffic management ticket.(Traffic Controller & Basic Worksite Traffic Management, TC1/2 & TM1/2)
  • The ability to work away from home, including some interstate and rural travel.
  • To be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination.
  • A track record of working well unsupervised and leading a team.

Experience and Qualifications (Desirable)

While not essential, candidates with the following experience or qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Experience in longitudinal or transverse line marking.
  • Experience in truck driving or plant operation.
  • Experience with Waterborne Paint, Thermoplastic, and Cold Applied Plastic road marking materials.
  • A Hiab or crane license.
  • Background in general roadwork maintenance or mobile/static traffic management.
  • Proven crew leadership experience.
