At Milk & Sugar, we're passionate about creating beautiful homewares and furniture for contemporary living.  Our Prahran showroom is the heart of our brand, featuring our curated collections with a particular focus on rugs. Customers can explore the textures up close, take home sample swatches, and connect with our designs in a personal way. We're excited to welcome a Showroom Sales Consultant to our team.

The Role:

We're looking for a Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Prahran team. You'll welcome customers, help them explore our collections—particularly our rugs—and provide take-home swatch options. You'll also assist with sales enquiries via phone, email, and chat, while supporting trade clients like designers and architects. This casual role offers the chance to work in a stylish, customer-focused environment.

This is a casual role – 2 to 3 Days per week.

Key Responsibilities:


• Follow up on enquiries and quotes with a friendly and helpful attitude.


• Build warm and professional relationships with all our retail clients, architects, and designers.


• Help coordinate delivery of orders with our warehouse team.


• Assist with the movement of stock between the warehouse and showroom.


• Keep the showroom looking its best at all times.


• Use your product knowledge to help customers make the best choices.


• Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction.

Requirements:


• Great communication and people skills.


• A love for homewares, furniture, and interior design.


• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
