Casual Dachshund Daycare Assistant – Waterloo

About Us

The Dackel Club is Sydney's only boutique daycare created exclusively for dachshunds. Our cosy Waterloo space is filled with wagging tails, naps in sunbeams, and lots of love and we're looking for a friendly female assistant who adores sausage dogs as much as we do.

The Role

  • Supervise dachshunds during playtime and make sure everyone's happy and safe
  • Help with feeding, water bowls, and light tidying throughout the day
  • Greet dachshund owners at drop off and pick up
  • Capture the occasional dachshund moment for our socials

Who We're Looking For

  • Ideally a uni student or young professional with weekday daytime availability
  • Must live locally — within easy reach of Waterloo or nearby suburbs (this is an in-person role and local proximity is essential)
  • A confident dachshund lover comfortable around small dogs with big personalities
  • Friendly, reliable, and happy to lend a hand wherever needed
  • Comfortable being on your feet and maintaining a clean, calm space

Hours

  • 2–3 shifts per week, around 4 hours each
  • Extra hours may come up during busy periods or when covering staff
