SEO Manager – Build, Mentor, and Drive Real Impact

About the Role:

Are you ready to take the lead on SEO strategy, mentor a growing team, and make a meaningful impact on client success?

What You'll Be Doing:

This is not your typical SEO role. You'll take full ownership of our SEO offering and lead a team of specialists focused on delivering measurable growth for our clients.

Lead and Mentor the SEO Team

  • Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and training to our SEO specialists. You'll coach them to perform at their best while ensuring successful client outcomes.

Own and Execute SEO Strategy

  • Develop and oversee SEO strategies across technical, on-page, and off-page SEO. Work closely with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution.

Manage Team Operations

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training. Develop internal processes to support scalable, consistent service delivery.

Drive Performance and Results

  • Monitor SEO KPIs, oversee audits, manage technical fixes, and report on results. You'll be responsible for delivering growth in traffic, rankings, and conversions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work alongside developers, content writers, and marketing leads to ensure SEO priorities are integrated across the business.

Stay Ahead of the Curve

  • Keep up to date with the latest algorithm updates and SEO best practices, and adjust strategies accordingly.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally with some leadership or mentoring exposure

  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, content optimisation, and site architecture

  • Proficiency with tools like GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and similar

  • Proven ability to plan and execute SEO strategies with measurable results

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines

  • Experience with hiring and building team structures is a plus
