Aussie Expat Home Loans is the leading Mortgage broking firm for Australians living overseas looking to secure finance back home. We specialise in assisting Australian's around the world and are the most reliable broker when it comes to applicants with overseas income, complex loan structures, and cross-border scenarios. Our team works with clients all across the world and we have offices in Asia and Melbourne.

The Role

We're looking for a Lending Associate to join our growing team. You'll work alongside senior brokers to structure and manage loans from application through to settlement. Every day brings variety – from attending client meetings with the brokers, reviewing expat loan scenarios and applications to liaising with lenders and handling complex deals.

What You'll Do

  • Review client financials and structure lending solutions
  • Work with our deal team to lodge and manage applications;
  • Manage communications with lenders, clients, and partners;
  • Support brokers with complex scenarios (trusts, companies, non-resident income);
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy at every stage of the deal process;
  • provide clients with the highest level of customer service and support;

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years' experience in mortgage broking, credit, or lending
  • Strong understanding of loan structuring and credit policy
  • Exposure to complex lending or some exposure to working with clients overseas (expat, self-employed, trust/company structures)
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or being willing to work towards it)

The most suitable candidate is important to us and we are willing to consider candidates from various backgrounds, either broking or banking. But lending experience and an ability to communicate and manage client relationships are key.

Salary and specific hours can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
