About Us

We're a locally owned and operated company providing high-quality maintenance and mechanical support to Carrapateena and Prominent Hill mines. Our team takes pride in doing things right, safely, efficiently and with a good attitude. We're growing and looking for another experienced Diesel Fitter to join the crew.

About the Role

We're after a fully qualified Diesel Fitter with solid experience working on heavy mobile plant and construction equipment in the mining or civil industries. You'll be responsible for diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on a range of equipment to keep our fleet running smoothly.

Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off (FIFO or DIDO options available)

Sites: Carrapateena Mine & Prominent Hill Mine

What We're Looking For:

  • Trade qualification  Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
  • Previous mining or heavy industry experience
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
  • Takes pride in their work area  clean, tidy, and organised at all times
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Current driver's licence (HR preferred)
  • Police clearance
