About the role

Rostrevor Group is seeking a skilled FIFO Diesel Mechanic Crusher fitter to join our team on a contract basis with possible ongoing work for the right person. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Mining, Resources & Energy industry, maintaining and repairing critical equipment at our mine site located in SA.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment including crushers, conveyors, and other mining machinery
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  3. Liaise with onsite supervisors to prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks
  4. Maintain detailed records of all work performed
  5. Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications in Diesel Mechanics or relevant trade certification
  2. Certificate IV level qualification in Diesel Mechanics or equivalent trade certification is required
  3. Demonstrated experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Crusher fitter in a mining or heavy industrial environment
  4. Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Crusher fitter is essential
  5. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently
  6. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  7. Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  8. Commitment to workplace health and safety
  9. Multiple safety tickets and certifications are required for this position
  10. Valid Australian work visa or citizenship is required

This position operates on a 14/7 FIFO roster pattern.
