We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join us. This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start, working between our Port Pirie and Adelaide depots in a supportive and dynamic environment where safety, reliability, and quality are at the core of what we do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel equipment, trailers and vehicles.
  • Carry out routine maintenance on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension, brakes, and related components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools.
  • Repair or replace worn and defective parts.
  • Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site repair support when required.
  • Conduct testing and inspections to ensure machinery and vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed and maintain a tidy, organised workshop.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent), OR Certificate IV
  • Minimum 2 years' proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy diesel systems and components.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
  • Valid driver's licence.
