Your Responsibilities

As the Head of Special Education Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Drive the school's vision and values to foster an evolving, high-quality professional learning community, supporting students as global citizens.
• Lead a collaborative Education Services Department, partnering with students, parents, and a range of industry bodies to support pathways for students with identified learning needs.
• Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support provided by the Education Services Program and Learning Support Programs (Literacy and Numeracy).
• Lead and manage the Education Services Program to provide advice to classroom teachers for students with disabilities as needed.
• Manage a diverse team of teaching and technical staff, optimising human resources across the school to advance our commitment to inclusive practices.
• Provide high-quality advice to the school leadership team, classroom teachers, and other school staff to develop, plan, and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities.
• Coordinate and provide intensive, targeted teaching for students requiring intervention through class dashboards.
