Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams. We currently have casual positions available in the Kedron and Newmarket stores.

Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.

The current position(s) are available for immediate start for enthusiastic and motivated individuals. Award wages and uniform are supplied. We are looking for applicants who are flexible with their availability, are able to work a variety of hours across weekdays and weekends and are prepared to work across both stores. The stores are not open on public holidays.

Responsibilities include

  • Providing an exemplary customer experience to both retail and trade customers
  • Tinting & mixing paint
  • Following the "Inspirations Way"
  • Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising
  • Store presentation, stock management, housekeeping
  • Workplace Health & Safety

Experience / Attributes

  • Demonstrated customer service with personalised customer focus
  • Well presented both in appearance and communication
  • Able to contribute and work in a team environment
  • Proven sales experience and a strong knowledge of paint and associated products
  • Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints
  • Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems
  • Honest, reliable and punctual
  • Current drivers licence
  • This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs
