Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, located in The Rocks, NSW, with some work from home allowed. The Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner will be responsible for developing and implementing positive behaviour support plans, conducting assessments, providing direct patient care, documenting patient progress, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The role involves regular interactions with clients and their families to support their mental health and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medicine to develop and implement support plans
  • Experience in conducting Research and assessments
  • Patient Care skills to provide direct support and monitor progress
  • Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in mental health or behaviour support

Compensation

Hourly rate of
$60–$80
, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
