About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver to join our team at Hard Rock Transport Pty Ltd working out of Dingley Village or Campbellfield, VIC. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operating a tray truck to transport marble, granite & across metropolitan and regional areas on A frames attached to the rear of your rigid truck
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety
- Adhering to all road rules, traffic regulations and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
- Providing exceptional customer service and timely delivery of goods
- Maintaining accurate records of jobs, deliveries and vehicle usage
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of the vehicle as required
What we're looking for
- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating tray trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to on-time delivery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
