HR & HC Local Truck Drivers - Truganina

Dyers Distribution is a family owned company who have been providing quality transport services since Due to demand we have a number permanent HR and HC driver vacancies for quality operators to distribute grocery products throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.

Overview of Task:

  • Distribution of Retail Grocery and FMCG products
  • Day shift Mon to Fri with Saturday work available. Shifts normally scheduled to start between 04:00am and 06:00am
  • Based at a new state of the art DC in Truganina
  • Multi drop ambient and temperature controlled deliveries
  • On the job training and assessment
  • Regular overtime
  • Quick hitch at DC (the customer loads)
  • Tailgate and electric pallet jack at delivery point
  • Over award Enterprise Agreement in place
  • Phone allowance per shift
  • New equipment

Successful applicants must have:

  • A current HR/HC licence with at least 12 months experience
  • Tailgate and electric pallet jack experience preferred but not essential
  • Refrigeration / Temperature Control experience preferred but not essential
  • Proven safe driving record
  • A safe work ethic
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Chain of Responsibility compliant
  • Basic Fatigue Management preferred
  • Smart phone

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.
