HR & HC Local Truck Drivers - Truganina
Dyers Distribution is a family owned company who have been providing quality transport services since Due to demand we have a number permanent HR and HC driver vacancies for quality operators to distribute grocery products throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.
Overview of Task:
- Distribution of Retail Grocery and FMCG products
- Day shift Mon to Fri with Saturday work available. Shifts normally scheduled to start between 04:00am and 06:00am
- Based at a new state of the art DC in Truganina
- Multi drop ambient and temperature controlled deliveries
- On the job training and assessment
- Regular overtime
- Quick hitch at DC (the customer loads)
- Tailgate and electric pallet jack at delivery point
- Over award Enterprise Agreement in place
- Phone allowance per shift
- New equipment
Successful applicants must have:
- A current HR/HC licence with at least 12 months experience
- Tailgate and electric pallet jack experience preferred but not essential
- Refrigeration / Temperature Control experience preferred but not essential
- Proven safe driving record
- A safe work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Chain of Responsibility compliant
- Basic Fatigue Management preferred
- Smart phone
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.
