About the Company

Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business known for producing premium-quality products under strict hygiene and safety standards. Due to continuous growth and increased production demand, they are seeking a
hands-on Production Supervisor
to join their team and take charge of daily operations on the factory floor.

About the Role

This is a
hands-on supervisory role
, perfect for someone who enjoys being involved in day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the production team, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining compliance with all food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production activities on the floor, leading by example.
  • Ensure adherence to
    Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    and quality procedures.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and QA teams to minimise downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Support, guide, and motivate the production team to meet targets.
  • Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively across departments.

About You:

  • Previous experience in
    food processing or food manufacturing
    is essential.
  • Exposure to
    food machinery
    such as
    vacuum filling, mincing
    , or similar equipment will be highly regarded.
  • Well-organised with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Competent in both spoken and written English.
  • Proactive and reliable with a hands-on approach to supervision.
