About the role

This full-time Purchasing and Procurement Coordinator role at ANCOL' is based in Allenby Gardens. You will play a key part in supporting the strategic procurement and supply chain management functions within a leading wholesaling business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the procurement process, ensuring timely ordering and delivery of goods and services
  2. Negotiate buy prices with suppliers to ensure adequate margins
  3. With buy prices agreed, you identify and allocate sell prices meeting kpi's.
  4. Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate records in the procurement systems
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing
  6. Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and drive cost savings
  7. Assist with inventory management, forecasting and stock control activities
  8. Provide reporting and analysis to support strategic procurement decisions

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Procurement or Purchasing Coordinator
  2. Strong negotiation, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  3. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  4. Proficient in using procurement and inventory management systems
  5. A collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously
  6. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline
