Employment Type:Full-Time, Permanent About the CompanyACRWORLD have partnered with a major player in the renewable energy industry, known for its strong track record in delivering major renewable and HV-infrastructure projects. They have already partnered with major TNSP's across the east coast of Australia and have an exciting pipeline of major Renewable  design projects. 

About the Role

This role involves delivering primary detailed design for electrical high-voltage substation projects, for network service providers. Experience in high-voltage design at 132kV and above is essential, and prior involvement in renewable energy BoP projects in Australia is desired. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and review primary substation detailed design, bussbars and layout design.
  • Earthing system design, documentation, and studies
  • Power System studies
  • Ensure all designs meet relevant standards and specifications
  • Provide technical support, analysis, and report preparation

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Studies
  • Chartered or Professional Engineer status is preferred (CPEng)
  • Strong background in HV substation design, layouts, and related civil, structural, and primary electrical elements.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering BoP projects in Australia
  • Familiarity with HV substation construction standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, QA processes, and relevant Australian standards
