Job brief

We are looking for a warehouse staff member to assist existing staff in our Willawong office. Responsibilities include storing inventory and pick, packing and dispatch of orders, operation of some basic printing machinery and assisting with general customer service enquiries. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receipt and process inwards goods
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
  • Undertake stocktakes from time to time to maintain stock accuracy
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with internal staff and reps
  • Operate and maintain material handling equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with processed and procedures

Requirements and skills

  • Prior warehouse experience
  • Prior experience with heat press printing equipment would be handy
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Customer service skills to assist admin team when necessary
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Current forklift licence
