Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking a Part-Time, Clinical Nurse working within the Surgical Department. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
As a Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centredDemonstrate professional practice as evidence by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's polices and processesFoster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development and providing supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates and studentsAct as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practicesCollaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuumMaintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomesAbout you:
Current AHPRA registration3+ years' experience within an acute environmentSenior clinical nursing experience1-year minimum team leader or in-charge nursing experience (desirable)Compliance with ACQSHC National standardsDemonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environmentExcellent communication skillsAbout Us
With 70 inpatient Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation beds, a rehabilitation gym and 3 operating theatres located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula our facility averages 760 admissions per month. Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programs on the Brisbane Northside.
