Our client is looking for an
Electrical Engineer
who thrives on solving problems, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement across their high-voltage test systems and precision coating processes.

Reporting to the Reliability Engineering Manager, you'll be the go-to person for electrical issues on the production floor. Your day will blend hands-on troubleshooting with design, maintenance, and project work. You'll keep complex test systems running smoothly, lead fault investigations, and contribute to the qualification and commissioning of new equipment.

What You'll Do

  • Support the daily operation of High-Voltage production test systems and Deposition Coating processes
  • Analyse electrical faults and implement lasting corrective actions
  • Maintain, calibrate, and improve test systems and electrical equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to enhance reliability and process control
  • Assist with electrical design, documentation, and compliance activities
  • Contribute to installation and commissioning of new machinery

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 2–3 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment (particularly in instrumentation and measurement equipment)
  • Strong grasp of electrical schematics and standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Positive, proactive approach with a focus on safety and quality
  • Familiarity with Australian electrical standards and safety practices.

Desirable: PLC knowledge, CAD/electrical design experience, LabVIEW or Python skills, and exposure to lean manufacturing.
