Experienced MEDICAL reception FOR MATERNITY LEAVE COVER

Due to Maternity Leave, we are seeking an experiencedReceptionist / Front Office Administrator

This role would best suit someone with proven experience who is professional and has a happy personality.

The successful applicant will be required to work either between 10 – 25 hours per week and cover for staff leave when required. Therefore, flexibility in covering most weekdays and some Saturday mornings is essential.

  • Experience in a Medical receptionist role
  • Experience with Best Practice Software
  • Outstanding Phone manners
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment

  • Dispute resolution abilities
  • A professional presentation
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

The ideal candidate will uphold a high standard of work ethics. Essential to understand confidentiality and be able to adhere to it. The ideal candidate MUST have experience in medical reception duties and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.

In a day in the life of our Medical receptionist, you will:

  • Ensure smooth patient flow through the clinic
  • Meet & greet patients in a caring, compassionate and professional manner
  • Support the GP's, nursing staff, fellow reception team members, and management in a range of admin tasks
  • Attend to busy phone lines, appointment book management & supervision of waiting room
  • Liaise with GPs, fellow staff members, management, patients, and their families in a professional, compassionate manner and treat them with a high level of customer service
  • Ensuring the clinic is immaculate at all times
  • Cleaning of rooms & common areas as required
