About the role

As a Solar Roofer / Labourer / Apprentice at KEG Solar, you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar power systems across Sydney. This full-time position involves hands-on work installing solar panels and associated electrical components on roofs, as well as providing general labouring support to the experienced solar installation teams. The role is based in Sydney, NSW.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely accessing and working on rooftops to install solar panels and ancillary equipment
  • Assisting with the unloading, lifting and positioning of solar panels and other materials
  • Supporting the skilled installers with the electrical work required for solar system setup
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment on job sites
  • Learning new skills and techniques from experienced solar installers
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards

What we're looking for

  • A keen interest in renewable energy and hands-on technical work
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to work at heights on rooftops
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • A positive, safety-first attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in construction, roofing or electrical work is highly regarded
  • Relevant trade qualifications or a willingness to undertake an apprenticeship
