Residency by Dillons, Tin Can Bay is a boutique family run aged care facility located in the heart of Tin Can Bay. Our home provides residents with equal access to care in a supportive and friendly environment. We respect residents' traditional and cultural backgrounds and provide an environment of peace, security, and harmony, allowing them to live creatively and independently.

We are currently seeking an Activities and Lifestyle Assistant to join our team.

We welcome applicants who have a qualification and/or experience in a similar discipline.

Part-Time or Casual positions available

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Allied Health or Individual Support or equivalent/ willing to undertake further education and training.

  • Must be enthusiastic, dynamic, proactive and take initiative.

  • Must be able to set up meaningful and person centred activities.

  • Must be able to present activities for varying level of ability.

  • Must be computer literate.

  • Experience working in a similar role in an Aged Care Facility will be highly regarded but not essential

  • Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people

  • Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English

  • A current NDIS Clearance (must be willing to obtain if not current)

  • Shifts are Weekdays: 08:30am to 16:30pm
