Responsibilities:

*Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression.

*Manage a busy reception area efficiently, ensuring a smooth patient flow and minimal wait times.

*Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, optimizing the appointment book for maximum productivity.

*Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims accurately.

*Handle patient inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and addressing concerns promptly.

*Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

*Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.

*Assist with billing and financial transactions as needed.

Role Description and requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff and external suppliers.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a busy reception area.

Proficiency in dental practice management software and experience with scheduling software.

Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in administrative tasks.

Familiarity with privacy regulations and the ability to handle sensitive patient information securely.

Positive attitude, team-player mentality, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
