Your work directly impacts delivery timelines and risk mitigation for our well-esteemed client.Whilst this is a hybrid role, please note that you are required to attend the office in Richmond at least 3 days a week.Key Responsibilities:Draft, negotiate and execute legal documents for leasing transactions, ensuring compliance with client policies and critical requirementsCertify documents for client execution, confirming accuracy and alignment with instructions and client standard positionsMaintain transaction databases and soft copy files with complete accuracy and timely updates across all systemsManage external solicitor costs within fixed fee scopes while coordinating legal negotiations and timelinesBuild relationships with major landlord contacts and facilitate negotiation of national landlord/Australia Post precedent documentsHandle lease interpretations and disputes along with other general ad hoc matters as delegatedSupport reporting and analysis, attend meetings and contribute to process improvements and template updatesInitiate site onboarding processes across various systems and databases to enable timely payment of licence feesEssential RequirementsLegal or property qualifications and/or experience within a law firm or retail landlord/tenant organisationDemonstrated understanding of leases and contracts, preferably from property or legal industryProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelKey SkillsHigh attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate dataProactive problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilitiesStrong interpersonal skills and team collaborationContract and lease interpretation abilitiesEfficient work prioritisation within tight operational and financial deadlinesAdaptability to embrace and manage changeProcess improvement and best practice implementation experienceWhat you can expect from us:Great employee discounts off fitness, wellbeing & other renowned bandsPrivate Health Insurance DiscountsEmployee assistant programNovated Lease for EV carsPaid time off for volunteer workCareer Opportunities with Australia's #1 Commercial Real Estate firmPremium officesHybrid / flexible workingAbout us:At JLL, we see a Brighter Way forward for our clients, our people, our planet, and our communities.
