We are a dynamic, growing company who is looking for Support Workers for our Disability Services and Aged Care teams. Operating in the wider Toowoomba Region, we offer a supportive, inclusive environment, and the opportunity to make a real difference to create a more inclusive and just community.

Duties include:

  • Follow daily schedules including, routines, identifying client needs, cleanliness, activities, shift guidelines, and delegation of tasks.
  • Oversight and provision of quality support to clients including documentation.
  • Medication assistance and management where required.
  • Safety, well-being and support of choice and independence of clients.
  • Provide clients with a physically and emotionally secure environment and promote their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual wellbeing.
  • Domestic assistance including vacuuming and mopping.
  • Assistance with manual transfer of clients as required.

Available shifts:

  • Monday to Sunday operations.
  • Supported Independent Living Day and Night shifts combined with Community Access Day and Afternoon shifts available.

Requirements of the role:

  • Current C Class Drivers' Licence, own transport and comprehensive car insurance.
  • Current Blue Card, Yellow Card / NDIS workers screening and Police Check or the ability to obtain one.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Current Police Check.
  • NDIS Orientation modules & Covid-19 Infection Control module.
  • A minimum of Cert III in a relevant industry qualification or willing to start a traineeship.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Be committed to professional conduct including honesty, reliability, uphold confidentiality, integrity, good work well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to defuse conflict.
