Chisholm is seeking an experienced Placement Coordinator for our Education Operations team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Placement Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:


•    Work in partnership with the Central Placement Team Leader, other Placement Coordinators and Education Managers in teaching departments to ensure that the Institute arranges placements with the appropriate number and type of providers to meet student training obligations.

•    Provide high level administration and placement process support to students, hosts and the teaching department. 

•    Act as the key contact placement coordinator for allocated host organisations. 

•    Work with students to improve their employability and life skills.

•    Ensure students are prepared to successfully undertake their placement.

•    Complete workplace visits, where practical during workplace/clinical placements to support. students and enhance the student journey.

ABOUT YOU

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and display conflict negotiation skills.

Qualifications required for the role


•    Vocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience in line with a discipline requiring placement opportunities.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Early Childhood and Education Support

• Nursing

• Community services

• Allied Health Services

• Disability and Aged Care Industries
