About the company
An exciting opportunity to join a market leading construction materials business in regional Victoria, ~3 hours from Melbourne. This organisation holds a strong presence in the Australian market with a key focus on manufacturing high end product while ensuring sustainability. The business is currently ongoing an exciting growth phase.

About the role
This is a planning-heavy production leadership role overseeing multiple production facilities.

The successful Production Manager will lead a medium sized team, this person will be accountable to the management team, for the safety, output and quality of production.

Key to success in this role will revolve around staff management, CI, ensuring machinery is operating how it should and maximising operations with minimal incidents.

You will also be responsible for maintaining stock inventory, maximising output by minimising shortages and providing feedback to the General Manager, on training and support sessions from the production team.

Skills & experience
We are looking for an adaptable leader who can operate effectively in a multi-site environment and bring a blend of technical expertise and people leadership. Your skills and experience will include

  • Minimum 2 + years' of experience, working in a Production Manager role, ideally within an industrial manufacturing or related industry.
  • Ability to direct staff on issues, critical for effective operations
  • Must be able to work with competing workload, where multi-tasking and prioritising tasks will be required
  • Set and drive safety initiative standards, for the broader team to be able to follow consistently
