This government agency is driving cyber security uplift across the state and offers a collaborative environment where your work will make a real impact. Based in Adelaide CBD, you'll join a team focused on delivering strategic initiatives that strengthen cyber resilience and governance. This is a contract role for an initial six months, with the option to extend to 12 months. The successful candidate must have the ability to obtain a Baseline or NV1 clearance post-commencement.

Your new role

As a Cyber Security Projects & Governance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Cyber Security Strategy, policy development, and stakeholder engagement functions within the Cyber Security Directorate. Your work will directly contribute to statewide cyber security uplift, ensuring critical services remain secure and trusted. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the SA Government cyber security community to ensure governance, coordination, and delivery of high-impact initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Track and monitor governance processes for regular policy reviews and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure timely review and maintenance of cyber security policies and documentation.
  • Coordinate workshops, meetings, and engagement activities for projects led by the Cyber Security Directorate.
  • Support implementation of the SA Cyber Security Strategy, including reporting on progress and outcomes.
  • Provide executive officer support to governance groups and committees, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2-3 years in a similar governance or project coordination role within cyber security or ICT.
  • Strong governance and executive support capability.
  • Demonstrated project management and coordination experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain Baseline or NV1 clearance post-commencement.
