Solution Architect Web Methods

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions on Webmethods and Microsoft Azure.
  • Act as the primary technical expert, providing guidance and oversight to development and operations teams.
  • Ensure solutions align with organizational goals, technical requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and contribute to strategic technology roadmaps.
  • Champion an 'automation first' culture to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and implement delivery plans, including defining project scope, milestones, and timelines.
  • Manage project resources, allocate tasks to team members, and track progress, making adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and ITIL processes.
  • Review and approve customer change control processes.
  • Provide technical guidance, support, and training to team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization across the Azure team and related projects.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and internal governance standards.
  • Identify and manage risks to the delivery, developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain compliance, operational, and maintenance policies for Azure implementations.

Required Qualifications

  • Webmethods + Azure APIM
  • Deep Azure Technical Proficiency, Comprehensive understanding of Azure services and solutions (Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases, Security, Identity, etc.).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Webmethods and Azure integration technologies.
  • Proven experience in cloud solution architecture and design.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and drive successful project deliveries.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in system integration and API management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in Azure, Webmethods, or related technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise-level software implementations.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning concepts.
  • Background in financial services or healthcare industries.
