Summary:

The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and managing an organisation's software, hardware, and networks. They ensure the security and reliability of the technology infrastructure and provide technical support to end-users.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade software, hardware, and network equipment
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot problems
  • Create and maintain user accounts and security settings
  • Conduct regular backup and recovery procedures

Qualifications:

  • TSPV Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
  • Good knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security methods
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others as part of a team
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization technologies a plus
