Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lawyer in the Greater Newcastle Area. Responsibilities include client consultations, drafting legal documents, managing case files, representing clients in court, and providing legal advice across various practice areas. The lawyer will collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in family law, criminal law, and civil law
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and managing case files
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to represent clients in court and provide sound legal advice
  • Experience with conveyancing, workers' compensation, property law, business law, debt recovery, general litigation, and insolvency law is beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Law; admission to practice law in NSW is required
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently on-site
