The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a motivated and forward-thinking Paralegal to join our Brisbane based Insurance Litigation Team. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team in our national head office.

The Role

The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Day to day management of insurance files;
• Drafting and amending various court documents;
• Reviewing and compiling evidence for filing (including administrative duties such as indexing and paginating);
• Compiling briefs to counsel and medical experts;
• Liaising with clients and service providers;
• Conducting legal research as required;
• Drafting case-notes as required;
• End of month billing; and
• General administrative duties of the team, such as diary and file management e.g. filing, bring ups, opening and archiving files.

Who are you?

We remain open-minded about the 'right' candidate. You could possess:

• Previous experience in a busy litigation paralegal role with a desire to continue your paralegal career journey;
• A high level of attention to detail and a high personal work standard;
• Strong organisation skills, together with the capacity to manage conflicting priorities simultaneously;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Familiarity with iManage and Practice Evolve would be considered advantageous.
