The Role

Parkes Couriers are currently seeking a HC or HR Truck Driver to join our team on a full time basis.

The successful applicants will be required to undertake multidrop pick up and deliveries. This role would best suit applicants who thrive working in a busy environment and enjoys changing responsibilities as no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi drop pick-ups and delivery of general and palletized freight within the Parkes district and surrounding townships
  • Assist with loading and unloading of vehicle and freight sortation.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and maintaining scanning compliance with handheld scanners
  • Actively demonstrate a strong commitment to safety including regular participation in safety conversations and toolbox talks

Skills & Experience

  • Current HC or HR licence
  • Forklift licence with experience preferred however experienced drivers with the ability to obtain their LF licence may also be considered.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug test.
