Cybersecurity and Governance Lead

About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic Cyber & Security Lead to strengthen our clients IT environment and drive continuous improvement across cyber defence, security operations,  risk management, and governance functions. We need  a proactive, solutions-focused leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong security governance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain security policies
  • Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CPS 230/234.
  • Manage SIEM, EDR, MFA, & WAF solutions
  • Oversee MSP-delivered services.
  • Lead incident response, risk assessments, & vulnerability management.
  • Coordinate security audits & deliver staff awareness programs.

What You'll Bring:

  • Broad cyber & information security
  • Expertise across both technical operations & governance.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, MFA, & WAF tools.
  • Strong knowledge of MS365 Security, Azure, and AWS.
  • Ability to manage incidents, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Experience managing an MSP
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, AZ-500 certification would be ideal
