We are excited to share a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Compliance Manager to join our Global Risk Group.
As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance primarily at a local (ANZ) level, while also collaborative working with Compliance teams across the global in support of compliance frameworks and reporting activities. Your work will be critical to the accurate and timely execution of compliance-related tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and precision.
In this role, you will also work collaboratively with other Compliance, Risk and first line of defence colleagues in ANZ and overseas to support continuous improvement of the Compliance Risk Framework and project activity related to the role.

The role will be responsible for assisting the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer with the implementation, execution and maintenance of the compliance framework and supporting programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks within the organization
- Creating and updating compliance policies and procedures to align with regulatory changes and business needs
- Conducting training sessions for employees to promote awareness and understanding of compliance requirements
- Implementing monitoring programs to ensure ongoing compliance and preparing reports for senior management and regulatory bodies
- Providing expert advice to various business units on compliance-related matters and supporting them in implementing compliant practices
- Providing support in the handling external client issues and regulatory inquires
What will you bring to the role?
The role requires a good understanding of the ANZ regulatory environment, the markets in which CPU ANZ operates, the products and services which it offers and Computershare's governance arrangements.
Here are the key skills we are looking for:
- Experience within a financial services role, ideally with a compliance and/or reporting background, for an ASIC or APRA regulated firm
- Experience with ASX, NSX, ASIC, AFCA, FMA, AUSTRAC, and OAIC regulations: In-depth knowledge of local regulatory environments
- Bachelor's degree in law, Finance, Business, or a related field: A solid educational foundation in relevant disciplines
- Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards: Staying informed about the latest legal and regulatory changes is crucial for ensuring compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities: Analysing data, identifying risks, and finding solutions to compliance issues require strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information: Compliance work often involves dealing with complex information, and attention to detail is essential for ensuring accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills: As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will need to communicate complex compliance concepts to employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders: Collaboration with various stakeholders, such as legal teams, regulators, and auditors, is crucial for successful compliance management
- Proficiency in using compliance software and tools: Utilising compliance software and tools can streamline processes and help manage compliance more efficiently
