About the role

As a Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals in our bustling kitchens at Watersedge Events located in the heart of The Rocks, NSW 2000.

This full-time role is crucial in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a wide variety of meals and dishes to the highest standard
  • Ensuring all food is prepared safely and hygienically in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Assisting in the development and testing of new menu items
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Collaborating with the wider kitchen team to deliver efficient service
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Chef. minimum 3 years
  • Strong working knowledge of Chef standards and best practices
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Passionate about using fresh, quality ingredients to create delicious food
  • Team player with a positive attitude
