About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and organised Childcare Administrative Assistant to join our team at Discover and Learn Academy in Heatherbrae, NSW. This full-time role will provide crucial administrative support to our growing childcare centre, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
What you'll be doing
- Handling all administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing records
- Providing exceptional customer service to parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders
- Assisting with the coordination of staff schedules and attendance
- Supporting the implementation of centre policies and procedures
- Liaising with regulatory bodies and maintaining compliance documentation
- Performing other general office duties as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a childcare or administrative support role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and data management systems
- Knowledge of childcare industry regulations and best practices
- A positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented attitude
