What You'll Be Doing
- Be the main point of contact for drivers for all non-dispatch issues including managing the payroll time sheet process for operations and cleaners, oversee and action driver shift surveys, and enacting depot wide education campaigns.
- Assume responsibility for depot administration tasks including managing the leave register, building driver rosters, processing charter bookings, ensuring licence compliance.
- Incident investigating including, customer complaints, Busways Occurrence Reports, and reviewing CCTV footage as necessary.
- Ensure operational consistency with our national operating frameworks.
- Assume responsibility for the achievement of contractual and internal KPIs.
- Coaching team members and developing their performance, offering feedback and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethic within your team
What You'll Bring
- Certificate in Transport Management (CTM), extensive relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated successful leadership of unionised workforces within the transport industry, preferably with experience in passenger bus services.
- Demonstrated Operations knowledge including service delivery, rostering, incident management, performance management, employee relations, complaint handling, work, health and safety, inclusion and diversity.
- Leadership capability, experience and demonstrated capacity to coach others.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully deliver high quality outcomes and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have working rights in Australia.
- Current Australian drivers licence issued by the relevant State
