Job Summary:
Think Global Logistics is in search of a Logistics Process Improvement Analyst to play a vital role in enhancing our logistics operations and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to identify areas for improvement, analyze existing logistics systems, and implement solutions to optimize our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with clients to develop strategies and plans aimed at achieving customer satisfaction and efficient resource utilization within the logistics domain.
· Engage in discussions with clients to identify shortcomings in logistics processes and systems.
· Analyze and evaluate current logistics systems, structures, and workflows.
· Communicate with staff and observe logistics processes at all levels of the organization.
· Guide clients towards more efficient logistics practices and develop solutions to logistical challenges.
· Conduct in-depth work studies by analyzing existing and proposed logistics methods and procedures.
· Record and analyze logistics workflow charts, records, reports, and job descriptions.
· Prepare and recommend proposals to revise logistics methods and procedures, streamline workflows, redefine job functions, and resolve logistical problems.
· Assist in the implementation of approved recommendations, issue revised instructions and procedure manuals, and create supporting documentation.
· Continuously review operating procedures, identify deviations from established logistics standards, and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, international Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field with an emphasis on process improvement.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on logistics optimization.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and staff in a logistics context.
· Proficiency in workflow analysis, process improvement, and project management within the logistics industry.
· Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
· Familiarity with logistics software tools and applications.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a logistics team.
