ZIMMERMANN is searching for a
Stock & Logistics Assistant
to join our team at our Head Office in Rosebery, Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to assist with our Australia-wide stock and logistics operations, ensuring our third-party logistics (3PL) partners operate smoothly and efficiently.

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain 3PL Director, you will work to build strong internal relationships with various teams and externally with our service providers. You will also assist with process improvements and ad-hoc projects for the region.

About our Role

As a
Stock & Logistics Assistant
, you will support our Australian stock and logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • 3PL & Inventory Management:
    Oversee inbound stock from suppliers, monitor deliveries to stores, and investigate and report discrepancies. You will manage bi-annual stocktakes and spot counts, as well as ensure the highest standards of data accuracy and reliability.
  • Logistics & Freight Coordination:
    Coordinate inbound and outbound sea, air, and courier freight for all Australian orders. You'll prepare necessary import/export documentation and provide timely support for local distribution and transport claims.
  • Stock Optimisation:
    Accurately receipt production orders into our ERP system (AP21), allocate free stock to orders, and release allocations to the 3PL daily to ensure timely processing.
  • Cost & Operational Optimisation:
    Take responsibility for checking and signing off on all Australian freight and supplier invoices. You'll also assist the Supply Chain 3PL Director with creating quality standard guidelines and company sustainability projects.

What You Will Bring

We are looking for someone with a strong aptitude for numbers and data and a high level of integrity and work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, retail, or supply chain.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with a solid attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and advanced computer skills in Excel. Experience with ERP systems like Apparel21 is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and negotiate effectively to achieve great outcomes.
