As a registered NDIS provider, we deliver personalised support that focuses on building confidence, enhancing skills, and improving quality of life. Our services include Supported Independent Living (SIL), Short-Term Accommodation & Respite, Support Coordination, Specialist Support Coordination, and community participation programs. We work closely with participants, families, and communities to ensure every individual has the opportunity to achieve their goals and thrive in a safe, supportive environment.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Employment Coach at Hawthorn East, VIC. The Employment Coach will be responsible for providing tailored employment support services to individuals with disabilities. This includes assessing participant needs, developing personalized employment plans, conducting job readiness training, assisting with job searches, and providing on-the-job support. The role also involves liaising with employers and community organizations to create inclusive employment opportunities. The Employment Coach will work collaboratively with participants, their families, and other support networks to promote successful employment outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in employment services, career coaching, or vocational training
  • Strong understanding of disability services and NDIS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized employment plans and conduct job readiness training
  • Experience in liaising with employers and community organizations
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related fields
  • Experience in the disability sector is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and current Working with Children Check
