Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Growth Initiative Delivery Manager to support the development and delivery of initiatives aimed at improving their asset and systems planning.

12 month contract - Hourly rate

This role offers an exciting opportunity to translate solution designs into actionable delivery plans, providing hands-on project management and oversight of external contractors as needed.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing the organisation's growth planning capabilities, developing pragmatic and innovative solutions that align with business, technology, and infrastructure requirements.

What you'll do:

As a Growth Initiative Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and delivery of initiatives aimed at improving our client's asset and systems planning. You will be responsible for translating solution designs into actionable delivery plans while providing hands-on project management.

Your ability to lead the end-to-end design and implementation of initiatives will be crucial in enhancing the developer experience. With your strong commercial acumen, you will assess project viability, cost-effectiveness, and return on investment. Your role will also involve engaging with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on growth planning initiatives.

  • Support the conceptualisation, design, and scoping of initiatives to enhance growth planning capabilities.
  • Develop solutions that align with business, technology, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Ensure initiative designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of initiatives to improve developer experience.
  • Identify and address potential risks, ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Oversee external contractors and vendors to ensure project outcomes are achieved within scope, budget, and timeframe.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on growth planning initiatives.
  • Apply commercial acumen to assess project viability, cost-effectiveness, and return on investment.

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Technology or a related field.
  • Strong background in engineering, data, technology or infrastructure with experience in solution development.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise including planning, execution and risk mitigation.
  • Proven ability to engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess financial implications and drive cost-effective solutions.
