Business Development Manager - C&I and Utility Scale Solar PV & BESS

We are seeking an experienced
Business Development Manager
to join this leading global renewable energy solutions provider. This role focuses on
Commercial & Industrial (C&I)
and
Utility-Scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow market share in C&I and Utility-Scale segments.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of projects.
  • Manage relationships with EPCs, developers, utilities, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and prepare proposals for large-scale solar and storage projects.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in
    business development or sales
    within renewable energy, ideally solar PV and BESS.
  • Strong understanding of
    C&I and utility-scale project development
    in the Australian market.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical knowledge of solar PV systems and battery storage solutions is highly desirable.
