We're now looking for a hands-on and experienced Customer Experience Project Manager to drive key initiatives that enhance how our community engages with Council services.
Reporting to Council's Customer Experience Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of the Customer Experience Program, including:
- Managing project planning, governance, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of program outcomes
- Collaborating with and supporting an external consultant in the development of Council's CX Strategy.

- Planning and facilitating internal CX training and awareness initiatives to build organisational capability.
- Working with internal communications teams to deliver a CX communication plan.
- Facilitating the engagement and involvement of key stakeholders in project activities.
About you
We're seeking candidates who are passionate about creating meaningful change through customer experience. You understand what it takes to embed customer-centric practices across an organisation and have played a key role in delivering CX initiatives that improve how services are designed, delivered, and experienced.
You'll also bring:
- Experience in project management, ideally within customer experience, service design, or organisational change
- Confidence in managing complex stakeholder relationships and influencing outcomes
- Experience designing and facilitating training or capability-building initiatives
- Strong written and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of project governance and reporting
- Knowledge of customer experience principles, including VoC methodologies
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities across cross-functional teams
If you're ready to help shape how our community engages with Council services, we'd love to hear from you.
