About the role
Permanent and temporary opportunities to provide professional expertise and clinical Orthopaedics services as rostered in the Department of Surgery, Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
- Provide specialist Orthopaedics services for patients undergoing elective surgery.
- Undertake Orthopaedic outpatient consultations and other specialist services as required.
- Assist in education and simulation activities for junior medical and nursing staff, and as appropriate for a teaching hospital for the Faculty of Medicine, University of Queensland.
