Cafe 66 is a newly established Italian café and restaurant located in the heart of Port Macquarie. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering a modern Italian dining experience. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present authentic and modern Italian dishes with consistency and high quality.
  • Develop and maintain seasonal menus, incorporating fresh and local produce.
  • Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen inventory efficiently.
  • Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with management to deliver an excellent dining experience.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent hospitality-related field.
  • 1–2 years of full-time experience in preparing and cooking modern Italian cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian culinary techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a busy environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,500.00 – $80,000.00 per year
