Note: This role will be filled at either Health Professional Level 2 or Psychologist Level P2 depending on qualifications and experience, in line with the Enterprise Agreement.
Salary for HP2: $89,134 - $106,625 (Plus 12% Super)
Salary for P2: $89,134 - $115,738 (Plus 12% Super)

About the Role:
The Eating Disorders Service, comprising of a number of programs: Eating Disorders Clinical Hub, Eating Disorders Program, Short-Term Recovery Intervention for Disordered Eating (STRIDE) Program and Eating Disorders Residential Treatment Centre (EDRTC) provides support and treatment to children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing an eating disorder as their primary presenting issue.
The Eating Disorders Clinical Hub (The Hub) is the central referral point for access to all community-based eating disorders services in the ACT. The Hub provides and supports a range of coordinated eating disorders services within the ACT and provides a flexible and efficient "Stepped Care" treatment model. The Hub's core business includes, assessment and treatment, care planning, consultation and liaison, education and training and system integration to strengthen eating disorders services across the Territory.
The Hub is seeking a dynamic and experienced mental health clinician to undertake the role of EDCH Duty Officer/intake clinician. Under the limited direction of the Allied Health Team Manager, the clinician provides expertise in referral management and mental health eating disorder assessment, including risk and physical assessment. Other key responsibilities include system coordination, liaising with the EDRTC, hospitals, GP clinics, and other public community services or private clinicians, as well as supporting individual and group interventions, and education and training programs to promote healthy eating and living behaviours within a recovery-oriented framework. These interventions may include facilitating group sessions and individual/family sessions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide support and supervision to staff at Health Professional Level 1, Allied Health Assistants, and students.
The role will also require the team member to undertake professional development and supervision, participate in quality initiatives and contribute to the multidisciplinary team processes.
Additionally, the role is required to be available to work within all program areas of CAMHS, as service needs arise.
This is a full-time, 5 day a week position.
