Operations Manager - ANZ

I'm currently partnering with a leading global organisation that's seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their operations across Australia and New Zealand. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll oversee logistics, customer service, and planning, while acting as the key point of contact with government bodies to ensure compliance.

The position offers the opportunity to shape and drive operational excellence while working alongside high-performing commercial and global teams.

The Company

Our client is a global leader in fluid-handling and spray systems, serving customers from DIY users to industrial manufacturers and heavy equipment contractors. Known for reliable, durable, and innovative products, they employ over 4,300 staff worldwide and have built a strong global reputation for engineering excellence.  The Role

  • Develop and deliver the integrated operations plan for ANZ.
  • Oversee sales & operations planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Manage logistics, imports/exports, warehousing, and compliance.
  • Partner with 3PL providers to deliver safe, cost-effective services.
  • Drive customer fulfillment and ensure strong service-level performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team, setting clear goals and fostering growth.
  • Manage the annual operations budget, aligning with strategic objectives.

The Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 7+ years of supply chain or logistics experience, including:

  • 3+ years in export/import or international shipping

  • 3+ years in demand/supply planning and inventory management

  • Leadership experience (2+ years preferred).

  • Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, and import/export processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, GAINS, MEO ideal).
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused, and able to thrive under pressure.
  • You will be rewarded with a competitive package with a base salary of up to $130,000 – $140,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Bonus

Nice to Have

  • Certification in customs declaration, commodity inspection, or freight forwarding.
  • PMP certification.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, with knowledge of SAP or WMS.
